True Vine Soap.... Where did it come from?
Several years ago our family began researching and reading about herbs. It was out of this fascination for the amazing gift God gave us through herbs, that I began soaping, creating balms, salves, and eventually, lotions and creams.

It was a couple of years ago when we had the pleasure of watching a woman create soap at a pioneer festival.
I went home with the dreams in my head of creating natural laundry soap to use in our family.

| The internet is a fascinating place, and I am easily sidetracked. I was quickly distracted by pictures of handmade soap. Our first recipe was water, lye, and lard!

| We've certainly come a very long way since then. My husband and I still love creating new recipes, formulating, and collaborating in our kitchen while babies sleep! Our soaps aren't created with lard now... But we still retain that thrill of creating a new recipe, thinking up essential oil blends, or tossing in a handful of herbs! We still infuse all of our own herbs and blends. There is a lovely simplicity of creating something useful and lovely by hand.

with other soapers. Not to be cast off, a passionate love of herbs, soaping, and most of all, our family. We hope you enjoy our teas, soaps and other products as much as we enjoy creating them for you!
